■The OT-120 is an orchestral chromatic tuner that combines high performance and functionality in a vertically oriented design that is easy to hold and operate. In addition to the ever-popular needle meter, known for its excellent visibility, the tuner features a dual display with a backlit LCD screen that clearly displays battery level, sound output level, calibration, key, temperament name, and more. The display, large dial for easy mode selection, and easy-to-press buttons are all conveniently arranged in a vertical orientation that's easy to hold, and a stand is included on the back to support the tuner's movement. This needle meter tuner boasts a stylish look with a luxurious silver aluminum panel and is packed with features to support orchestral tuning.
■ It can generate a reference tone over a wide five-octave range, from C2 (65.41 Hz) to C7 (2093 Hz). Two or more players can tune simultaneously while listening to the reference tone. When using the stand, the speaker opening is not blocked, allowing for louder sound when checking the reference tone. It also features Sound Back Mode, a feature based on KORG's proprietary technology. By connecting an instrument to the input jack using a separately sold contact microphone such as the CM-100/CM-100L, the speaker will return a reference tone that is closest to the input instrument's pitch. The meter also operates simultaneously, allowing you to check the pitch both visually and aurally, resulting in more accurate tuning and ideal for training your sense of pitch. The built-in microphone also makes it easy to measure acoustic instruments.
