The Genelec 8020D is compact yet incredibly ambitious. Introduced in 2017, the 8020D delivers 4 dB higher SPL and consumes even less power than its predecessor. The Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE) ensures accurate, uncolored sound reproduction, while the Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) provides precise frequency reproduction on and off-axis. When you're finished working, the Genelec Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) circuitry automatically detects system inactivity and switches to an environmentally friendly, power-saving standby mode. From post-production studios and broadcast trucks to DAW-based studios, the 8020D is the perfect choice for near-field solutions.
