This 2-way, 3-inch powered studio monitor is part of the Genelec 8000 series, a classic studio monitor. Its highly efficient Class D amplifier delivers high output (25W high frequency + 25W low frequency). Genelec's unique acoustic engineering theory delivers accurate and faithful sound. Its rounded, sophisticated exterior was designed by renowned industrial designer Harri Koskinen.

The active monitor features a balanced XLR input, a 3-inch woofer, a 3/4-inch tweeter, and two Class D power amplifiers. It also features Genelec ISS (Intelligent Signal Sensing) circuitry, which automatically detects system inactivity and switches to an environmentally friendly, power-saving standby mode.
