The 8020DPM is a Genelec powered monitor speaker. It uses a high-quality D-class amplifier. It achieves increased efficiency in the power supply circuit while reducing power consumption. The DESKTOP switch allows for improved near-field characteristics.

- The front volume knob has been eliminated, replaced with a ±6dB fine-tuning trim on the rear.

The Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE) delivers accurate, uncolored sound reproduction, while the Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) delivers precise on- and off-axis frequency reproduction. When the system is finished working, the Genelec Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) circuitry automatically detects system inactivity and switches to an environmentally friendly, power-saving standby mode. From post-production studios and broadcast trucks to DAW-based studios, the 8020D is the ideal choice for nearfield solutions.
