DS-73

These semi-open monitor headphones combine the advantages of both closed-back and open-back designs. They reduce ambient noise while delivering a balanced, flat, and natural sound with high resolution.

■Semi-open housing
The semi-open housing provides better sound isolation than standard open headphones, allowing you to accurately monitor sound while shutting out ambient noise. Furthermore, the sound comes out better than closed-back headphones, and your ears are less likely to feel fatigued during long mixing/mastering sessions. The DS-73 is also ideal as monitoring headphones when playing loud instruments such as drums, where there is a distance between the headphones and the microphone.

■Flat and wide frequency response
・DS-73, which covers 10Hz to 36KHz, allows you to accurately hear each delicate sound from low to high frequencies. Furthermore, the flat EQ curve and high original sound reproduction power accurately reproduce the nuances, expressions, and tonal balance during performance.

■Large diameter 50mm diameter driver unit
-The DS-73 is equipped with a 50mm large-diameter driver unit, which produces a powerful sound that is well-balanced from low to high frequencies, making it hard to believe that it is a semi-open type. The amazing maximum output of 1500mW does not require a headphone amplifier, and it is possible to monitor at sufficient volume with headphones alone.
