The first product in Acoustune')s new ""Monitor"" line, the RS ONE, is the brand')s first stage monitor earphones that combine high durability with monitoring performance.

■Highly robust body that is resistant to impact, heat, and sweat
The number of parts is kept as low as possible, and market research has been conducted to thoroughly study the parts of ear monitors that are prone to breakage, resulting in a highly robust body. The housing is made of two parts and uses polycarbonate, which is highly impact-resistant, weather-resistant, and heat-resistant. By increasing the rigidity of each part in a simple manner, the risk of failure is greatly reduced even in harsh environments. The faceplate plays a role in increasing the rigidity of the body while giving it an identity as an ear monitor. In addition, the small body makes the housing design suitable for a wide range of use by anyone.

■Mirinx EL driver that combines high input resistance and high acoustic performance
As a brand based on its own dynamic driver, Acoustune uses the polymer biomaterial ""Mirinx,"" which is used for artificial skin and surgical sutures, as the diaphragm material. This Mirinx is made into a thin film and optimized for the driver structure, making the diaphragm lightweight yet highly strong and flexible, and reproduces music with high resolution and a wide dynamic range with excellent transient characteristics. Designed as a stage monitor, the RS ONE has developed a new ""Mirinx EL driver"" for the RS ONE, taking advantage of the know-how of this Mirinx driver. The Mirinx EL driver achieves more accurate monitoring than a regular Mirinx driver. The material used for the Mirinx EL driver is an ultra-high-performance resin that boasts extremely excellent acoustic performance, being lightweight and extremely rigid, and having a large internal loss, even though it is used for medical purposes. The large internal loss reduces unnecessary incidental sounds and improves monitoring performance. In addition, to make the most of this Mirinx EL driver, a large back cavity is secured on the back of the diaphragm, and by placing a distance from the diaphragm to the grill, high input resistance is achieved, allowing it to be used normally even after a signal of up to 250mW (※) is input momentarily. This makes the earphone speaker less likely to break even if a large input such as howling occurs suddenly on stage. The large stroke width of the diaphragm provides a live feeling like a loudspeaker, while the sound coexists with the accuracy of an in-ear monitor, achieving excellent monitoring on stage. ■ Impedance design that matches wireless in-ear monitor systems
Stage monitors are mainly used in combination with wireless in-ear monitor systems. If the impedance of this in-ear monitor system and earphones does not match, it may be difficult to get the volume, the characteristics of the earphones may change, and monitoring performance may decrease. In order to avoid such troubles, RS ONE thoroughly reduces compatibility issues with in-ear monitor systems by performing accurate impedance matching.

■ Adoption of newly developed cables ``ARM011'' and ``Pentaconn Ear Long-Type''
The cable uses ``ARM011'', which was newly developed for RS ONE. A 4-core structure is used for the wire material braided with high-purity Litz wire and Kevlar wire, and a PU material coating is used to improve handling. By twisting this, it is a strong cable that is flexible and easy to handle, but is also resistant to kinks and breakage. Considering compatibility with the in-ear monitor system, a straight type plug was selected. The connector uses the new IEM connector ""Pentaconn Ear"" designed and manufactured by Nippon Dicks Co., Ltd., which boasts high sound quality and high reliability. Compared to conventional MMCX connectors, the plug and jack parts are in closer contact, providing excellent conductivity and both ease of removal and robustness. In addition, RS ONE uses the ""Pentaconn Ear Long-Type"", which is embedded in the body and has a structure that makes it difficult for sweat to get into the connector part, as a sweat countermeasure, which is important for stage monitors. Compared to other connectors, it reduces the risk of wear and tear due to removal and use, and poor contact due to sweat, reducing accidents in professional on-site environments. In addition, the structure allows the cable to be easily removed and replaced even if it breaks, making it suitable for live environments.

■AET earpieces that provide a high level of fitting and acoustic experience
The silicone earpieces ""AET07"", which are also used as a reference when developing Acoustune earphones, and ""AET02"", which provides a sense of sealing unique to foam types, are included. A high level of fitting is achieved while avoiding deterioration of sound quality. A carrying case is also included, making it easy to carry.

このイヤーモニターの音の主張は中低音≧低音＝中音＝中高音＞高音という感じで、全体的に解像度、分離感が良く、定位がはっきりしていて、5人グループなどの複数人の声もそれぞれ聴き分けることができました。ボーカルが刺さることもなく、どんなに音量を上げても刺さりませんでした。
ただ、シンバル系の音が一歩後ろでなっているように感じられるため、ドラムをメインで聴く方や、派手さを求める方には少し物足りないかもしれません。そのおかげか、どの音域にも音が被っていることがないので、自分が聴きたい音をすぐに見つけることができます。
Pentaconn Earを採用しているので、万が一断線したとしてもリケーブルが可能なので安心です。キャリングケースも付いており、持ち運びも便利。同価格帯のイヤーモニターの新たな選択肢に加えてみてはいかがでしょうか。

シュアー425にLowを足した感じ

Lowは40Hz周辺から80Hz辺りまでよく鳴ります。感覚としては30Hz辺り?50Hz辺りも音源に入っていれさえすれば出ることは出ます。
Midはプレゼンスの帯域がやや強め、とくにMidHighの2.5k?4.5k辺りが強い。サ行が目立つのではなく、タ行の「ツ」とか「チ」とかの歯擦音（のピーク）がやや目立つ。
Highは意識的にプラスして伸ばしてはいないと思います。「音源なり」に鳴ります。ちょっとシュアー的なドライでデッドな感じ。
音場は広くはない。ステージモニターのセオリーっぽくギュッとセンター寄り。ただ分離は良い。
プレゼンス帯の歯擦音ピークを抑えたい場合＆Lowをちょっと削りたい方は、イヤーピースをスパイラルドットプラスというやつに変えてみてください。相当聴きやすく、バランス良くなる。
