audio technica / ATH-A900Z is a closed-type monitor headphone equipped with an aluminum housing and integrated yoke driver, which delivers accurate reproduction of the original sound and crisp, high-resolution sound.

■High-purity aluminum housing that is both strong and lightweight - The double-structure housing enhances the air damping effect with the D.A.D.S. structure (PAT.) to reproduce extended bass tones. *D.A.D.S. structure (PAT.) Double Air Damping System: By effectively using the air spring, extended bass tones are achieved. ■Equipped with a newly developed 53mm diameter driver unit - Inside the high-purity aluminum housing that is both strong and lightweight, it is equipped with a large-diameter driver that has been carefully crafted by Japanese craftsmen and pursues sharpness and clarity. It features an "integral yoke" that improves transient characteristics and improves sound reproduction, an "OFC bobbin-wound voice coil" that provides a rich expression with a tight sound field, a diaphragm with a special coating made of ultra-hard carbon material, and a top-mounted PCB method that equalizes the air flow and brings out accurate diaphragm movement without distortion. ■3D wing support - The new 3D wing support maintains a comfortable fit with excellent head balance and a moderate sense of sealing. - Memory foam ear pads that are gentle on the ears and improve the fit. - Single-ended cord with highly elastic elastomer sheath that is less likely to tangle. 値段以上の音質

サウンド全域に渡って、値段以上の音質
ただし、曇っている
恐らくコードの質が良く無いせいかと
シリーズの1000、2000にいくに従って高音部の明瞭さが増していきます
しかし、この価格帯では最高クラスの音質だとおもいます
明るく、音の粒が細かく整っているかんじ
加えて、ヘッドフォンを支えるヘッドバンドは穏やかなつけ心地で、重さをかんじさせず他に類をみません
ハウジングがややおおきいですが、自室で聴く分には問題ないかと
ただ、電車でこのヘッドフォンのシリーズをつけてるひとをみたことがあります
