PC用デスクトップスピーカーとしてUSBオーディオデバイスから出力しています。用途としては主にリスニング用です。
当初TANNOY Reveal 402を購入しようと思っていましたが、比較音源を聞き比べたところ4インチと5インチに明確な差を感じ、本製品JBL 305P MKIIとReveal 502が候補になりました。
私の耳ではどちらも良い鳴り方をしていましたが、価格差で安くなっているJBL 305P MKIIにしました。
購入後に実際に聞いたところ非常によく鳴り満足しています。
ただデスクトップ用途だと当初予定よりもサイズアップしたため設置の際にはデスク上の機器配置を見直すことになりました。ちなみに設置しているデスクの天板は120x60cmです。
スタンドのMSTなしで設置しようかとも思いましたが、スタンドは使用した方がデスク上がスッキリします。液晶モニターの真横に設置すると圧迫感がすごかったので、液晶モニターの斜め後方に設置しました。
ただ、MSTのネジ穴のうち1つがネジ切りされていませんでした。4穴中1穴なので使用上は問題ないのですが、ちょっと残念でした。なので星は-1で。
