Exquisite keyboard touch
The core of the GXP88 is a newly designed, exquisitely balanced keyboard. The 88 semi-weighted full-size keys with velocity and aftertouch provide a firm touch and excellent playability.

The sensitivity of the keyboard can be adjusted to suit your preferences and playing style with five velocity curves. The curves cover a wide dynamic range from soft to hard touch. The default curve ""Normal"" is optimized to provide proper control over the entire velocity range right out of the box. In addition, three ""fixed"" levels allow you to send a constant velocity value across the entire keyboard.

Instant access to the controls you needThe slim, streamlined control panel is based on the popular Nektar Impact GX series and provides advanced DAW integration with transport control, track selection, volume control, and 14 assignable RGB buttons for direct MIDI program and bank selection in your DAW.

The Impact GXP is both a MIDI controller and a DAW controller - if you're using software not supported by Nektar DAW integration, you can configure MIDI control however you like. The assignable buttons in the transport section can be configured to send program messages or MMC, and you can also assign and send MIDI CC messages to any of the 28 assignable MIDI buttons, modulation wheel, keyboard aftertouch, footswitches, or control knobs. Settings are saved even when the power is turned off.

Nektar DAW Integration
When you install Nektar DAW Integration, you can use the eight buttons just above the wheel to control the main tasks of your DAW from Impact GXP. In addition to general transport control, these buttons cover locator movement and settings, window opening and closing, volume control, track navigation, and patch navigation, allowing you to operate comfortably without reaching for the mouse.
