The SEQUENTIAL Prophet XL is a synthesizer that combines sample instrumentation and synthesis.

▼Features

Newly Developed -24dB Stereo Resonant Low-Pass Filter Based on a Vintage Design
At the heart of the Prophet XL's powerful sound is a new -24dB/Oct resonant low-pass filter based on a vintage design. Separate filters are provided for the left and right channels for a true stereo signal path, providing superior presence and thickness for both sample sounds and oscillators. An additional polyphony setting allows the Prophet XL to be switched from 8-voice stereo mode to 16-voice mono mode, useful for stacking and splitting.

[Two simultaneous digital effects per layer]
The effects section offers multiple types of reverb, delay (standard and BBD delay), chorus, phase shifter, flanger, vintage rotary speaker, high-pass filter, and distortion. In stack or split mode, two effects can be used per layer. Effect parameters can be modulated using the modulation matrix.

[Ample 16-voice polyphony in mono mode]
The Prophet XL offers up to 16 polyphonic voices in mono mode, allowing for ample bi-timbral performances. In 8-voice stereo mode, two layers can be layered to create expansive, rich, and complex sounds.

[Official add-on library by 8Dio]
8Dio's official add-on library, featuring samples of vintage synthesizers and keyboards, is being released one after another. Bring those legendary synths back to life inside your Prophet X/XL.

Two digital oscillators per voice. Choose from sine, sawtooth, pulse, and Super Saw.
Wave shaping function allows you to change the waveform shape.
Glide (Portamento): Rates can be set for each oscillator (samples can also be glided using Sample Stretch mode)
