The FaderPort series doesn't redefine the mixing flow, but rather enhances it. While using a keyboard and mouse as before, you can still control any function with the FaderPort series and manipulate the mix with your hands.

The 100mm-stroke motorized fader controls the mix and writes automation for vocal tracks. Transport controls include play, stop, fast forward, rewind, record, and loop. Navigation controls include track scrolling, channel banking, timeline scrolling, horizontal zoom, and vertical zoom. It also includes Studio One Artist, so you can start creating music right away.

The FaderPort series' Session Navigator provides quick access to key functions and maximum flexibility. Use the transport, channel selection, fader mode, and window switching buttons to edit and mix with unparalleled efficiency and speed. You can also quickly scroll through the timeline with the encoder and measure by measure with the arrow buttons. Use the encoder to zoom in and out on the timeline, zoom in and out on tracks with the arrow buttons, navigate and drop markers, and constantly control the main level. Once you start using the Session Navigator, you'll never want to mix without it.

The FaderPort series supports a variety of emulations, allowing you to quickly and easily control virtually any DAW. Being USB class compliant means no driver installation is required. Simply connect via USB to control your DAW's automation, mix, and transport.

Compatible DAWs include Studio One in native mode and Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Ableton, Nuendo, Bitwig, Reaper, Reason, and Sequoia in emulation mode. When used with Studio One, PreSonus's original DAW, its potential is even more fully realized; Studio One Artist is also included.
