Condenser microphone made by SE ELECTRONICS. The back of the microphone is equipped with a three-position directional switch: omnidirectional, cardioid, and bidirectional. The pad switch, which can be switched between -10dB and -20dB, provides a wide dynamic range. It can be used with a wide range of sources, including loud instruments such as electric guitars, wind instruments, and kick drums, and enables close-mic techniques.

■Handcrafted 1-inch true condenser capsule

All capsules are handcrafted and tuned in our own factory in Shanghai by skilled technicians, just like the finest musical instruments. Unlike other microphones with backplate or electret designs, the sE2300 features a true externally polarized condenser capsule for maximum performance in every respect.

■3-way polarity
The 3-position polarity switch on the back of the microphone allows you to choose between omnidirectional, cardioid, and figure 8. Control the balance between direct and ambience sound depending on the source and purpose.

■Traditional Class A electronic design
Carefully selected discrete components ensure great sound with a wide range of sources. The sE2300 is designed to perform well without ICs (integrated circuits) - low noise, consistent performance, and high sensitivity are achieved by state-of-the-art surface-mount electronic components with extremely tight manufacturing tolerances.

■Switchable attenuation levels and low-cut filter
The -10dB / -20dB switchable pad switch provides a wide dynamic range, allowing you to handle a wide range of sources including loud instruments such as heavy electric guitars, powerful brass, and heavy kick drums, as well as close-mic techniques.
The low-cut filter, selectable from 80Hz / 160Hz, helps to reduce low-frequency rumble and unwanted foot noise, and balances excessive proximity effect when close-micing.

■Custom-designed output transformer
Inheriting the soul of classic studio microphones, the sE2300's custom transformer adds depth and persuasiveness to the entire sound image. In addition, the well-shielded metal housing allows you to handle it without worrying about noise.

■Metal enclosure and premium finish
The sE2300's metal chassis effectively suppresses electrical interference and noise, unlike other cheaply constructed microphones. And its solid finish makes it attractive.
And the gold-plated XLR connector ensures a reliable connection for years to come.

■Isolation Pack (shock mount + pop shield) included
The sE2300 also comes with an ""Isolation Pack"". The shock mount, which reduces noise caused by vibration, has a simple structure and can be easily attached/detached from the microphone body.

In addition, the exquisitely curved metal pop filter can be adjusted vertically and helps reduce plosive sounds.
