ART / TransX

TransX combines a newly developed, high-performance discrete preamp circuit with a transformer to achieve low noise. It is the next generation of professional microphone preamplifiers, inheriting the quality of the ART Pro MPA II and other products that are well-received for their excellent sound.

■Transformer XLR Input
The rear panel is equipped with an input transformer equipped XLR input terminal, which can supply +48V phantom power. In addition, a -20dB PAD switch can be used depending on the input level. There is also a 1/4"" input for instruments on the front panel.

■Transformer Balanced Output
The unit is equipped with a balanced output of 1/4"" TRS and XLR equipped with a transformer. It can also eliminate ground loops.

■Rotary Switch LOW CUT
The low cut filter is a rotary switch that switches in 1/3 octave steps, making it easy to reproduce settings.

■Settable Input Impedance
The impedance of the XLR input can be set to match the microphone you are using. By changing the setting, you can bring out the various sounds that the microphone has.

■Use as a DI
This unit is also ideal as a DI box. The high impedance instrument input can be used for various purposes such as piezo pickups, guitars, basses, and keyboards.
