■Power amp section with NuPower technology
The power amp section is one of the important factors that determine the unique response and playing feel of a tube amp. VOX has been thoroughly particular about the power amp specifications, including the Valve Reactor circuit. And in the MVX150 series, we have newly introduced ""NuPower"" technology, which incorporates the advantages of conventional tubes and solid-state power without compromising the potential of Nutube. The specifications take advantage of the characteristics of tube power, the source of overwhelming dynamics, and solid-state power, which boasts a stable wide range.

■Various controls that allow for a wide variety of sound making, from clean to high gain, vintage to unknown sounds
The MVX150 series is a two-channel specification that covers a wide range of sounds. In addition to EQ, channel 1 is equipped with CLEAN/CRUNCH, BRIGHT, FAT, and various selector switches for RHYTHM/LEAD, BRIGHT, FAT, and MID-SHIFT on channel 1, and channel 2 is equipped with RHYTHM/LEAD, BRIGHT, FAT, and MID-SHIFT on channel 2. It also comes equipped with PRESENCE and RESONANCE, which allow you to adjust the ultra-high and ultra-low frequencies. You can aggressively create not only classic sounds that go the traditional route, but also unknown sounds. You can also adjust the bias voltage of the Nutube used for each channel of the preamp, which allows you to control the response and character of the sound, significantly expanding the range of expression from vintage to modern.

■ Equipped with numerous practical functions such as send/return and WET ONLY output
The MVX150 series is equipped with a variety of expansion functions, including a send/return terminal that allows you to switch between parallel and series. The power level control, which allows you to adjust the level while maintaining the sound pressure and distortion feeling familiar from the Valvetronix series, can be set to up to six stages. In addition, it is equipped with a WET ONLY output that allows you to easily create a dry/wet environment by simply adding a cabinet. Only the dry sound is output from the normal speaker, and only the sound of the effector connected to the send/return or the built-in reverb is output from the WET ONLY output. With just one unit, you can easily set up a dry/wet environment similar to that of a professional stage, without a separate power amp or complicated connections.

Equipped with EMULATED LINE OUT, which matches not only live performances but also recording environments. Since it emulates the sound of a speaker cabinet, including miking, you can record with a realistic amp sound even when connected via a line.

■ Equipped with a Celestion Redback speaker made in the UK

The combo type MVX150C1 uses a Celestion Redback speaker made in the UK to fully utilize the full Nutube sound and 150W output. This high-power speaker, which is a single 12-inch unit but can handle 150W, is a special specification prepared for the MVX150C1.

Although a handle is installed on the top surface, it adopts a flat design. Its smart appearance, combined with the blue gradient sign that glows on the front, creates a sophisticated design that is worthy of announcing a new era of tube amplifiers.
