The ZED-6 features a newly designed preamp designed by analog design guru Mike Griffin, based on the preamp found in the acclaimed GS-R24 analog recording console. Named GSPre, this preamp delivers exceptionally low noise performance, ample headroom, and the warmth and depth you expect from Allen & Heath's analog mixers. For tone correction and sound shaping, the MusiQ EQ, carefully tuned for responsiveness and precision, allows you to easily adjust the sound of the input source.

■Tour-grade toughness
All ZED series models are designed and manufactured to Allen & Heath's exclusive tour-grade standards, ensuring long-term use in harsh environments such as on the road. All channels feature independent circuit boards mounted perpendicular to the panel, and knobs are attached with steel nuts for high resistance to impact damage.

この「ZED-6」は、コンパクトに設計されており、設置場所を取りません。PCのキーボードやマウスと同じ机に置いても邪魔にならないでしょう。デザインもシンプルで、各機能がわかりやすく、誰にでも操作しやすいと思います。
このミキサーは、ステレオ入力が二系統あるので、例えばスピーカーを内蔵していないステージピアノを、DAWでMIDIキーボードとしても使いたい場合、スピーカーが各機器（ピアノ、PC）に対して必要となりますが、「ZED-6」の2系統のステレオインに『ステージピアノからのアウトプット』と『PCのオーディオインターフェースからのアウトプット』を繋げば、1セットのスピーカーで両方の音を出力することができます。ピアノを弾いていて曲のフレーズを思いつき、その後シームレスにDAWでの音源制作に移行する、という使い方に最適です。

小ホールで使ってます。手頃なサイズで重宝してます。音質もそこそこで安定性あります。
設定も簡単で使いやすいですね。音質はほかの方がおっしゃられてますが、ちょっとハイ気味ですが別に不快感はありません。しばらく使ってますがトラブルもなく安心しております。

シンセ2台をまとめてスピーカーに送るのに使ってます。
電源スイッチ付き、3極はこの価格帯であまりないので嬉しい。
アウトがフォンプラグにも対応しているとなおよかった。

マランツのCDプレーヤーとヤマハの業務用アンプの間に入れ、音量・音質調整用のプリアンプとして採用しました。はじめに、残留ノイズですが、最大音量に調整しても、検知できません。極めて優秀です。
音質は、組み合わせるCDプレーヤー、パワーアンプ、スピーカ―により、評価が異なると思われますが、音質の劣化が感じられない、鮮度のある生々しい音と思います。これがこの価格で入手できることに驚愕です。高級オーディオ用と称する異様に高額なプリアンプは何処に経費が掛かっているのか、大変疑問を感じます。
他の製品ですが、残留ノイズありますとのレビューも時々散見されます、評価している製品からのノイズなのか複数の組み合わせで検証しているのでしょうか、
サウントハウスから購入している、商品の低ノイズにはいつも感心しております、音響の業務用として市場に出ている製品です、最低限ノイズは極小であるはずです、ノイズが出たとのレビューは、組み合わせる製品も含め十二分な考察をして確証を得てからの投稿がのぞまれます。

しっかりした造り

ステレオchがL/mono対応では無いのが寂しい。
サブ卓にしておくには勿体ないくらい造りは良い。
pflスイッチ、電源コードがチョイスの決め手。
SNも悪くなさそう。
SNのノイズはサーというより、シャーとサンクラMPMより少し高め
アウトのレベルも比べたりしましたが、良い卓と判断して良いと思います。
欲をいえば、もう少し小さいければなぁ～。

耐久性ありそう

音は聞いてないのですが、いろいろ比較検討した結果こちらの製品を選びました。他メーカーの2倍近い重量がポイントかな？（笑）
頑丈な作りで長く使えそうです。
あと、エレキギターをバランスで接続したらノイズが極端に減りました。YAMAHA HS-5をつないでハイレゾ音源聴いたり、BOSS GT-100をつないでギタープレイを楽しんでます。小音量でも比較的いい音で弾けるので、楽しいですね。TASCAM CD-GT2もつないでます。
