UNIVERSAL AUDIO/UAD-2 Satellite USB DSP is a DSP expander equipped with eight SHARC processors that allows you to fully utilize the UAD plug-ins that professionals love.
A number of high-quality UAD plug-in effects can be used in a low-latency environment with a USB3.0 connection.
■ UAD-2 powered plug-in
The UAD-2 Satellite USB DSP Accelerator is one of the coolest and most powerful gear for Windows-based PC users to boost their mix with the award-winning UAD plug-in.
With significantly better performance and lower plug-in latency than FireWire, the UAD-2 Satellite USB will be the perfect gateway to the world of UAD plug-ins. Of course, it can also be used as an ideal "DSP expander" for the Apollo Twin USB interface.

(Only supports computers with a motherboard that natively incorporates USB 3)
・SuperSpeed USB 3.0 cable (included)
・Free storage capacity of 6GB or more
・Intel Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, Xeon processor (Quad Core i7 or higher is recommended)
・8GB or more of RAM is recommended
・Internet connection environment (for software installation, product registration, purchase of additional plug-ins)
・VST/RTAS/AAX64 compatible host application
*2-in-1 system (notebook/tablet) is not supported
*USB3 adapter (eg PCIe-to-USB3 expansion card) is not supported
*UAD-2 Satellite USB does not support USB bus power drive.
*Up to 2 USB connection type UAD-2 devices (including Apollo Twin USB) can be used at the same time.

BAE DMPで録った音とUAD-2でマスタリングまでやったところ、音が良すぎて演奏の粗が目立つようになりました。
逆に2010年前後のプロの音はwavesの音？
protools HDで録ってない分もちろん音の立体感などはプロの音源に劣り、ミックスの上手さも演奏の上手さももちろんプロには劣りますが、何かの要素がwavesだけで作っていたであろうプロの音源より音がいい気がします。

最初なぜか認識されず困りましたが、USB3.0を差し替えたり電源落としたりしてたら、認識されました。それからは快適に使えていますね。
音は1176もla2aもレガシーでも十分つかえるとおもいました。emt140のリバーブは半端ないです！
