The fully-featured 896mk3 professional model, featuring eight high-quality mic preamps, large, highly visible level meters, and all analog outputs with XLR specifications, has now evolved further with the addition of a USB 2.0 port and a Type B firewall port, becoming the 896mk3 Hybrid.

This flagship firewall/USB audio model brings together MOTU's most advanced technologies, including native support for the latest 64-bit operating systems: Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.7, 24-bit/192kHz conversion with a high-precision clock, and 32-bit floating DPS mixing.

確かにこれは最高峰。

何のマイクをつないでも、凄く美しい音を収録してくれます。
システムダウンロードで付属しているCueFX内の機能性も凄く優れていて、各チャンネルのイコライザーは勿論、エフェクト、リバーブを柔軟にかけることができました。イコライザーの設定値も物凄く細かく設定できるので、自分好みの音に更に寄せることができます。
しかし、難点は他の方がおっしゃるように、CueFXの操作パネルが異様に小さいこと。結構シビアな操作が求められ、全画面で処理をしていた方にとっては、少し使いづらいように感じます。私もその点で音符４つの評価にしました。
システムダウンロードについて、説明書では「ダウンロードディスクから～」と書かれていましたが、本機にはそれが付属されていなくかなり焦りましたが、以下のURLでシステムは普通にダウンロードできるそうです。

Windows 10にも対応しているので、このオーディオインターフェイスが新規導入でも使用できることがわかります。
音質、機能性は最高峰であるのに対し、操作性に少し手詰まり感があるのが少々残念です。バージョンアップで操作性の向上を期待しましょう。

だとおもいます。今まで１万円台のTASCAMのオーディオインターフェイスを使っていたんですが、896にかえたら音が奇麗に通るようになりました。ノイズがのることもありません、音質面ではすごくいいです。入出力も豊富で、これがオーディオインターフェイスなのを忘れてしまいそうです。
USBやIEEEの端子もあるのでPCとのやり取りの設定もすごく簡単でした。
悪い所をあげるとするなら、操作し辛いというところがあげられます。液晶パネルがついているのですが、このハードの中でエフェクトなどをかけようとしてもかからない（PCにインストールしたCueMix FXでは操作可能）みたいなので注意が必要かと？リバーブの掛け方分からん！笑
あとはアウトプットを調整するツマミがないので送った先で音量調整するしか無いみたいです。
音質面や入出力の豊富さで満足ですが操作性という点で♪４つです。
