The AT4040 is a new flagship model in the 40 Series, based on the globally popular AT4033a and refined with the latest technology. Boasting a wide dynamic range and delivering a vivid, natural sound full of speed, it is suitable for a wide range of applications, from recording to broadcasting and live performances.

[Major Features]
- Extremely flat, neutral sound with little coloration. The refined DC-bias large-diaphragm captures sound that is sharp, vivid, and natural. It captures sound with a balanced sound from low to high frequencies, faithfully reproducing the original resonance and nuances of the sound source being recorded.
- The large-diaphragm and transformerless circuitry provide a fast sound attack and clearly capture even the most delicate details. It is particularly excellent at expressing the subtleties and ambience of vocals and acoustic instruments.
