■High-Quality Harmony/Pitch Shifting with Easy Operation: The PS-6 is a compact effects pedal that utilizes the latest technology to add pitch shifting and harmony to your guitar sound. Various pitch processing operations are possible with intuitive, easy operation using just four knobs and pedals.
- The PS-6 employs a high-performance DSP for dramatically improved processing power. Sound quality during pitch conversion has also been significantly improved compared to previous models. It enables the aggressive pitch control that only a dedicated device can achieve, something that was difficult to achieve with conventional guitar multi-effects.
The PS-6 allows you to easily bend notes with the pedal, even on guitars without armrests, allowing for richer expression. Of course, the effect balance can be adjusted, allowing you to create beautiful octave sounds combined with the direct sound.
■Three-part harmony for powerful guitar performance: Thanks to improved processing power, the harmony function has been expanded from two to three parts. Rich three-part chords allow you to create melodic guitar solos and more substantial riffs.
- Three-part harmony adds two parts, such as a third and a fifth, to the direct sound you play. You can specify the key in 12 steps, as well as select major or minor, allowing you to play chords that are optimal for your key. In addition, when connected in stereo, different harmonies are added to the left and right channels, creating a wider, more expansive stereo sound. Even if your band only has one guitarist, adding the right harmonies with the PS-6 will add depth to your sound and create a more vibrant ensemble.
■ Super Bend Mode: Shifts pitch by more than two octaves: The PS-6's pitch shifting capabilities have been significantly improved. The newly developed Super Bend mode allows for a wider, more dynamic range of pitch shifting than ever before.
- Super Bend mode's pitch shift can be set from -3 to +4 octaves. Use the pedal to create ultra-high frequencies that enhance solos or fat, deep bass notes that transcend bass. You can also adjust the ""Rise Time"" (the time it takes for the pedal to fully take effect) and the ""Fall Time"" (the time it takes for the pitch to return to its original pitch), allowing for more musical pitch manipulation.
■ 3-Voice Detune Mode: The PS-6 features a Detune mode that adds a unique depth to your sound. By adding two voices with slightly different pitches, you can add a unique thickness to your guitar sound. It produces a warm sound that's a bit different from chorus.
■Precise pitch control with an expression pedal: The PS-6 allows you to connect an expression pedal such as the EV-5 to the unit. This allows for more precise pitch control, making it easy to perform techniques like slides and glissandos with the pedal.
