Designed based on Celestion's renowned Blue, the Gold is a speaker equipped with a high-output alnico magnet that reproduces the original sound of a well-played Blue. The Gold's sound is warmer and more delicate than the Blue, with the calm attack characteristic of Alnico, rounded lows, and brilliant highs, resulting in a thick, clear lead tone.

CELESTION's proud Designed based on the BLUE model, the GOLD speaker features a high-output alnico magnet that reproduces the original sound of a well-played BLUE guitar. The soft highs for which the BLUE was famous were produced by the cone softening over time. With the GOLD, you can enjoy these soft highs right from the start. The GOLD's sound is also warmer and more delicate than the BLUE, with a more subdued midrange, the characteristically mellow attack of alnico, a rounded low end, and a vibrant high end, resulting in a full, clear lead tone. The clear and expressive GOLD speaker offers players unprecedented dynamic control. It's a favorite of a wide range of active players, including country musician Brad Paisley and Danny Spitz of thrash metal band Anthrax.

出音が速いです

ジェンセンっぽさも感じられる明るめの音です。倍音が豊富なので、設定よりも深く歪んでいるように聴こえます。出音が非常に速く、交換前のスピーカーによっては、弾く前に音が聴こえるような錯覚に陥ります。感度が高いうえに中音域が効いているので、音量はかなり大きくなります。有機的な音で、パキンとしたメタリックなクリーンよりも、ザクッとしたクランチなど、少し歪んだ音のほうが合うように思います。モダンでドンシャリ気味に感じるアンプでも、このスピーカーに交換すると、ビンテージ風の太い音になります。1基およそ3万円という値段も、ギターに十数万かけたり、2-3万のペダルを買い漁ることを考えればかなり手頃で、費用対効果は抜群です。金ピカのスピーカーと青いラベルを眺めて贅沢な気分に浸れるので、キャビはオープンバックがおすすめです。
