■Controls
Level: Sets the output of the Barrows. At around 12 o'clock, you can set the signal to be equal to the input signal. The large output makes it ideal for pushing tube amps or other distortion pedals.
Attack: This is the magic of the Barrows. At low settings, it responds precisely to your dynamics, providing the same feel you'd get from a tube amp. Turning the knob up from there transforms it into an aggressive fuzz. It amplifies everything—thickness, texture, and sustain. The distortion changes across a wide range of tones, so keep that in mind when crafting your sound.
