## TONEX in ToneNET
In addition to the AmpliTube 5 preset collection, TONEX Tone Models will be available for sharing on IK Multimedia's online tone-sharing social platform, ToneNET (www.tone.net). ToneNET allows you to download over 1,000 TONEX Premium Tone Models via the TONEX software and app. You can also demo Premium Tone Models not included in your current version. You can also download 20 free User Tone Models with TONEX CS, and unlimited User Tone Models with the paid versions TONEX SE, TONEX, and TONEX MAX. More Premium Tone Models created by IK Multimedia, artists, and famous collectors are planned for release. As more user-created Tone Models are shared with the ToneNET community, the ultimate Tone Model library, powered by AI Machine Modeling, continues to grow.

## TONEX Capture
You can capture Tone Models yourself with just a modern computer, audio interface, and reamp box. If you're using an audio interface with an AMP OUT port, such as IK Multimedia's AXE I/O, you don't need a separate reamp box. To input the signal played back through the cabinet via a microphone, an audio interface with a microphone input is sufficient.

For those who want to capture the power amp signal directly without using a microphone, IK Multimedia offers TONEX Capture, an all-in-one tone modeling system. Connect TONEX Capture between your audio interface and amplifier. It converts the line signal for Tone Model capture played by the Machine Modeler section of the TONEX software into a TO AMP signal that can be connected to your amplifier. It also attenuates the signal output from the power amp's cabinet output and converts it into a balanced XLR signal, allowing you to capture the amp's true tone.

Registering for TONEX Capture will also include a free copy of TONEX SE for Mac/PC (20 amps with 200 Tone Models and 10 pedals).

ToneX Technology: AI Machine Modeling
AI Machine Modeling is a completely new technology created by the developers of AmpliTube, the world's most popular amp and effect simulator.

AI Machine Modeling

Model Your Own Rig with AI
AI Machine Modeling uses a neural network-based machine modeling program to analyze the wet and dry signals of any guitar or bass rig. AI Machine Modeling then derives and generates an accurate algorithm from these dry and wet signals in just a few minutes.
The algorithm generated by AI Machine Modeling is called a ""tone model."" This is an exact clone of your actual gear, vividly recreating every nuance of your amp or pedal. For example, if you model an amp and a cabinet, you can virtually separate these two elements and try out a different cabinet model. This highly advanced technology allows you to do this.
It's also possible to incorporate entire complex rigs, including fuzz, overdrive, and other distortion pedals placed in front of the amp, into the algorithm.
And all of this can be done using your everyday equipment, such as a computer and audio interface.

Tone Model Creation Example
Creating a tone model is as easy as recording a guitar. Essentially, a real-world rig is modeled in software in three steps:
1. Input the guitar capture file audio for tone modeling into the rig you want to model.
2. AI Machine Modeling analyzes the dry and wet sounds using an advanced neural network-based program.
3. The ""tone model"" generated through the analysis is precisely optimized using AI.
