■Amplifier Simulator

TONEX for Mac/PC uses AI Machine Modeling technology to capture Tone Models of amps, cabinets, combos, and effects pedals (fuzz, distortion, overdrive, EQ, booster, etc.) and make them available as plug-ins for your DAW. The software can be used as a plug-in for DAW. It works as a stand-alone or AU/AAX/VST plug-in. Amps and pedals using Tone Models from Tonex can also be used as models for AmpliTube gear, the famous guitar/bass effects amp modeling software.
The Tone Modeler consists of two sections: the Machine Modeler, which captures and generates AI Machine Modeling Tone Models, and the Player, which allows you to search, browse, play, and customize the sound of Tone Models.

The sound editing section of Player includes full EQ, noise gate, pre- and post-compressor, depth, and presence controls, as well as high-quality reverb, VIR (IK's Volumetric Impulse Response AI Machine Modeling also allows the user to isolate the amp and cabinet imported as a Tone Model, allowing the user to experiment with their IRs or to access virtual cabinets and IRs using IK's VIR™ technology to perfect their tone. ## TONEX for iPhone and iPad
TONEX for iPhone and iPad is an app that allows you to experience Tone Model with AI Machine Modeling technology on your mobile device. With the same Player section as the TONEX Mac/PC software, you can play, practice, and record anywhere with AI Machine Modeling's realistic Tone Models. The Tone Model libraries in the TONEX iOS app and Mac/PC software work in sync, so users' Tone Model collections can be played seamlessly on any device - in the studio, at home, or on the go.

## TONEX Capture
Anyone with a modern computer, audio interface, and a ramp box can capture Tone Models. You don't need a separate preamplifier box. If you want to input the signal played back by the cabinet through a microphone, an audio interface that accepts microphone input is sufficient.

For those who wish to capture the signal directly from the power amp without a microphone, IK Multimedia offers TONEX Capture. This all-in-one tone modeling system connects TONEX Capture between the audio interface and the amp. TONEX Capture can be connected between the audio interface and the amplifier to convert the Tone Model capture line signal played by the Machine Modeler section of the TONEX software into a TO AMP signal that can be connected to the amplifier, and the signal from the power amp cabinet out into an attenuated balanced XLR signal that can be connected to the amplifier's realistic sounding outputs. This allows you to capture the amp's natural tone as it is.

TONEX SE for Mac/PC (20 amps with 200 Tone Models, ten pedals) is a bonus when registering as a TONEX Capture user.
