""The Bass Ace"" is a pedal that adds tone control to a clean boost/buffer. The tone knob allows for clean boost, treble boost, and bass boost. The front stage of the distortion pedal can be used for boosting and tone correction, the middle stage can be used to activate the vintage pedal, and the rear stage can be used to increase volume and improve presence during solos. Ideal for enhancing the sound quality of passive basses.

5弦アクティブベースでの使用感になります。クリーンブーストの質感は原音がそのまま上がってくる感じで、それも良いのですが、トーンノブの具合によって味付けした上でのブーストがこのペダルの真髄かなと思いました。シンプルな2ノブなので分かりやすく、トーンの効きはベースの美味しい帯域でかなり効いてくれるのでボードの先頭に置いてプリアンプ的な使い方も良いかなと思いました。単なるブーストペダルよりも幅広く使える良いペダルだと思います。
