British punk band: Idles' signature distortion pedal. It has a 2-channel specification, and the 1st channel is a discontinued Gray Channel OP amplifier drive. The other channel is square wave fuzz. What's unique about EQD is that this fuzz channel has a knob that changes the square wave waveform width. When the width is shortened, the sound becomes gated, and the fuzz sounds at a high volume along with the sustain.

■Control
GO: Setting the amount of distortion on the overdrive side. Each time you raise the knob, the gain of the operational amplifier increases, allowing you to create a thick overdrive sound. You can also use it as a full range booster by setting the Go lower.

Left footswitch: Overdrive on/off.
YES!: Sets the sensitivity of the envelope that controls the interval movement of the fuzz square wave. This envelope is controlled by the input signal, so it is affected by things that amplify the signal, such as distortion pedals installed in front of Gary, the strength of the pickup's output, and the output of the instrument itself. The best way to play Gary is to connect it right after your guitar or bass, right after the equipment with the most signal dynamics. If you set the knob after 12 o'clock, the interval between the waveforms will become very narrow, so the sound will seem to disappear on your hearing, but this is not a malfunction.

Flexi switching:
This product has Flexi-Switch functionality. It is an electronic relay type true bypass, and depending on how you press it, it can be used as a regular latching switch or a momentary switch (unlatching type).
- When using it as a latch type switch, press the switch once when you want to turn it on, like a normal effector switch, and press the switch once again when you want to turn it off.
- When used as a momentary switch, the effector will be on only while the switch is depressed, and will be off once the switch is released.

power supply:
This product can be used with a 9V AC adapter and a 2.1mm center negative adapter. We do not recommend using daisy chains or non-transformer power adapters as they may generate noise. Also, please do not use a power supply exceeding 9V as this may cause a malfunction!
