The Morgan AC20 HEAD is a hand-wired, all-tube amplifier made in the USA capable of producing a myriad of early 1960s British guitar combo amp tones.
Morgan Amplification, an American boutique guitar amplifier brand, has released the AC20, a hand-wired all-tube head amplifier made in the USA that can produce countless tones of early 1960s British guitar amplifiers.
This all-tube amplifier is equipped with two 12AX7 pre-tubes and two EL84 power tubes, and has a variable output with a power level control, with an output of 0.25 to 20W.
The tones can be varied very widely with the controls, and the design is simple and very easy to use.
It is based on three controls: the POWER control, which can vary the output value from 0.25 to 20W without changing the tone, the CUT control, which cuts the high frequencies, and the VOL control, which adjusts the drive level.
The two switches that correct the tone are the Bright switch (sun and moon) which increases the high frequency band, and the Bass & Treble switch (treble clef/bass clef) which cuts the low frequencies by setting it to the treble clef side.
The AC20 is also a pedal platform amp, designed to sound great even when connecting reverb, delay, and modulation pedals before the amp input.
The AC20 is also very touch-sensitive, allowing you to express yourself in a variety of ways depending on how hard you pick, and you can get a clean tone even when you turn up the drive level.
