■Control boomy and bass:
Equipped with a variable acoustic high-pass filter ring that cuts up to 10dB at 50Hz, it tightens the tone and emphasizes the mids and highs without the phase shift that often occurs with preamp high-pass filters. Additionally, a slit on the side of the unit reduces proximity effect, eliminating the boomy and bass sounds that occur when the microphone is placed close to a loud source.

The thin, pencil-style body design allows for easy mic placement in crowded studio or live performance situations where mics overlap, whether you're recording simultaneous acoustic guitar and vocals, tracking an entire band, or miking a full drum kit. It features a dynamic humbucking coil that provides excellent off-axis rejection while minimizing noise, especially in the bass and mid-bass. This makes it easy to get a tight snare bottom tone without the harsh kick drum bleed.
