Inspired by the historic Gretsch "Rex" acoustic guitars sold in the 1930s, 40s and 50s, the Jim Dandy models capture the charm and spirit of Gretsch's early flattops with superior playability and class-leading tone.

The Jim Dandy Deltoluxe Parlor, with its small, portable parlor body and 24-inch scale, offers the clear, distinctive midrange tone of a parlor guitar.

The X-braced body is made of carefully selected lightweight laminates, providing the perfect balance of woody vintage tone and durability. The "C"-shaped neck provides excellent playability like an instrument you've been playing for years. The Gretsch Deltoluxe magnetic soundhole pickup produces versatile acoustic tones for live performances and recordings, and works great with effect pedals. Details faithful to the specifications of the time, such as the vintage-style pin bridge, pickguard with "G" graphics, painted pinstripe purfling, "3-on-a-plate" open gear tuning machines, and oversized dot inlays, exude a nostalgic personality.
