MESA BOOGIE / California Tweed 6V6 4:40 Head

The MESA BOOGIE California Tweed is a guitar amplifier that combines tradition and modernity, featuring the distinctive tone of classic 6V6 tubes, sweet reverb, an all-tube effects loop, and five output patterns that can be switched in stages from a maximum of 20W down to a minimum of 1W.

The California Tweed is powered by four 6V6 power tubes, and the preamp features five 12AX7 and one 12AT7 preamp tubes. The patented incremental Multi-Watt power amplifier features Duo-Class and Dyna-Watt technology, offering five power levels, two operating classes, and three wiring options with a single 5-way rotary switch.
