The Auratone 5C Super Sound Cube, used as the standard monitor speaker for mix checking from the 1970s to the present day, is now available in an active version.

The incredibly honest sound of the original 5C is reproduced with ideal sound through a high-end 50W power amplifier developed in collaboration with the cutting-edge pro audio brand Bettermaker.

Equipped with the legendary 4.5-inch full-range driver, it achieves a flat and faithful response. It's a standard monitor speaker installed in studio environments worldwide, used for checking sonic details and mixing optimized for actual listener monitoring environments.

All parts are manufactured and assembled in the USA.

The original full-range driver unit is made entirely in America, with all materials and production adhering to the same high quality control standards maintained since the company's founding in 1958. Only the original could perfectly reproduce the classic tone of the original 5C.

The ""5C Super Sound Cube"" was a standard compact monitor speaker, almost universally adopted by major recording studios and broadcasting stations during the 1970s and 80s. It was frequently used as a monitor to check mixed audio sources before they were played on television, radio, or small audio speakers. In recent years, it has also been adopted for listening checks with small speakers intended for iPods and laptops.
