The AURATONE 5C, a monitor speaker that could be seen in many studios, especially from the 1970s onward, as a monitor speaker for checking mixes, has been completely revived with its original sound.

The Auratone 5C 'Super Sound Cube' is a passive, sealed speaker (pair). It consists of a 4 1/2"" original design full-range driver and a compact enclosure, with all parts production and assembly done in the USA.

The Auratone's classic original monitor sound has been meticulously reproduced down to the smallest detail.

The speaker cabinets, driver units, and uncompromising assembly are all meticulously handcrafted at AURATONE's factory in Nashville, USA.

The original full-range driver unit is made entirely in America, with all materials and production adhering to the same high quality control standards maintained since the company's founding in 1958. Only the original could perfectly reproduce the classic tone of the original 5C.

The ""5C Super Sound Cube"" was a standard compact monitor speaker, almost universally adopted by major recording studios and broadcasting stations during the 1970s and 80s. It was frequently used as a monitor to check mixed audio sources before they were played on television, radio, or small audio speakers. In recent years, it has also been adopted for listening checks with small speakers intended for iPods and laptops.

It retains its natural frequency response, perfect phase, excellent power handling, high durability, and compact enclosure, possessing the same professional capabilities as before.
