The shell ply features carefully selected wood grain and texture, ensuring excellent resonance and connectivity. Decade Maple is a versatile model suitable for any genre and player, utilizing thin (5.4mm) 6-ply shells for excellent response and ample low-end.

■ 45° Bearing Edge
The 45° bearing edge shape, a longstanding Pearl design, achieves a perfect blend of attack, warmth, and sustain.

■ Opti-Loc Suspension Mounting System
The 3-point support tom mount utilizes two tension bolts and an air vent hole, suspending the toms from a single point to maximize shell resonance and stability even during intense play.

■ Pearl Superior Shell Technology (SST)
Decade Maple shells are crafted with Pearl's advanced shell technology to achieve ultimate resonance. Starting from wood selection, scarf joint cutting ensures high density and precise thickness. Pore cells of each ply are filled with Pearl's proprietary glue and molded under high pressure and temperature of 1000 PSI, producing powerful drum shells known for excellent tone, optimal resonance, and durability.
Furthermore, all shells undergo strict inspections of edge flatness and roundness before drilling and assembly, ensuring optimal head mounting and tuning stability.
