45°ベアリングエッジ

シェルとドラムヘッドが接するベアリングエッジには、Pearlが長年採用してきた45°エッジを採用。
ヘッドの振動をスムーズにシェルへ伝え、明瞭なアタックとメイプルならではの温かみ、伸びやかなサステインをバランスよく引き出します。

Pearl独自の鳴りと耐久性を追求したシェル構造

DECADE MAPLEのシェルには、Pearlが培ってきた独自のシェル製造技術を投入。厳選した木材を精密に成型し、独自の接着技術と高圧・高温による成型工程によって、優れた鳴りと高い耐久性を両立しています。
さらに、組み立て前にはエッジの平面度やシェルの真円度を厳しくチェック。安定したヘッドの装着とスムーズなチューニングを支えます。

シェル本来の鳴りを活かす
Opti-Loc サスペンションシステム

タムには「Opti-Loc サスペンションシステム」を採用。2本のテンションボルトとエアベントホールを利用した3点支持構造により、シェルへの接触を抑えながらタムをしっかりと保持します。

シェルへの接触を抑えた NDLミニラグ

コンパクトで堅牢なNDLミニラグを採用。シェルとの接触面積を抑えることで、シェル本来の振動を活かしながら、安定したチューニングを実現します。
すっきりとしたデザインもDECADE MAPLEの洗練されたルックスを引き立てます。

自由度の高いセッティングが可能
Uni-Lockタムホルダー

タムのセッティングには、PearlのUni-Lockタムホルダーを採用。タムの角度を180°無段階に調整でき、自分の演奏スタイルに合わせた快適なポジションへスムーズにセットできます。各タムを独立して調整できるため、演奏性を重視した細かなセッティングにも対応します。

■6-ply (5.4mm) maple shell
Shell plies are carefully selected for grain and texture, good connection and excellent sound.
The Decade Maple is a utility model that is genre-less and can be used by any player. The thin (5.4mm) 6-ply shell provides excellent response and plenty of low frequency.

■45°Bearing Edge
The 45° bearing edge, an edge shape that Pearl has employed for many years, provides the perfect blend of attack, warmth, and sustain.

■Opti-Loc Suspension Mount
The three-point suspension mount suspends the tom-toms at two tension bolts and one air vent hole (air hole), maximizing the sound of the shell while providing high stability even during intense playing.

■Lacquer finish
The striking visual appeal of maple is further enhanced by a multi-layer UV lacquer finish.

■Pearl Superior Shell Technology (= SST)
Decade Maple shells are manufactured with superior shell technology that uses proprietary techniques to achieve the ultimate in sound. Beginning with the careful selection of the wood, scarf-cut joints are used to ensure that the wood is formed to a high density and precise thickness.
The cellular pores of each ply are filled with Pearl's proprietary glue and then molded under high pressure and temperatures of up to 1000 PSI to produce strong drum shells with superior tone, best sound, and high durability.
All shells are also rigorously inspected for flatness and roundness of edges prior to drilling and assembly to ensure the best head mounting and tuning stability.
