シェルには、プロフェッショナルモデルでも定番の素材であるメイプルを100％使用。6プライ(5.4mm)の薄めのシェル構成により、メイプルらしい明瞭なアタックと豊かな低域を引き出します。

アタックと豊かな響きを引き出す
45°ベアリングエッジ

シェルとドラムヘッドが接するベアリングエッジには、Pearlが長年採用してきた45°エッジを採用。
ヘッドの振動をスムーズにシェルへ伝え、明瞭なアタックとメイプルならではの温かみ、伸びやかなサステインをバランスよく引き出します。

Pearl独自の鳴りと耐久性を追求したシェル構造

DECADE MAPLEのシェルには、Pearlが培ってきた独自のシェル製造技術を投入。厳選した木材を精密に成型し、独自の接着技術と高圧・高温による成型工程によって、優れた鳴りと高い耐久性を両立しています。
さらに、組み立て前にはエッジの平面度やシェルの真円度を厳しくチェック。安定したヘッドの装着とスムーズなチューニングを支えます。

シェル本来の鳴りを活かす
Opti-Loc サスペンションシステム

タムには「Opti-Loc サスペンションシステム」を採用。2本のテンションボルトとエアベントホールを利用した3点支持構造により、シェルへの接触を抑えながらタムをしっかりと保持します。

シェルへの接触を抑えた NDLミニラグ

コンパクトで堅牢なNDLミニラグを採用。シェルとの接触面積を抑えることで、シェル本来の振動を活かしながら、安定したチューニングを実現します。
すっきりとしたデザインもDECADE MAPLEの洗練されたルックスを引き立てます。

自由度の高いセッティングが可能
Uni-Lockタムホルダー

タムのセッティングには、PearlのUni-Lockタムホルダーを採用。タムの角度を180°無段階に調整でき、自分の演奏スタイルに合わせた快適なポジションへスムーズにセットできます。各タムを独立して調整できるため、演奏性を重視した細かなセッティングにも対応します。

■ 6-ply (5.4mm) Maple Shell
The shell ply features carefully selected wood grain and texture, offering excellent resonance and response. Decade Maple is a versatile model suitable for any genre and player, utilizing thin (5.4mm) 6-ply shells for outstanding low-end response.

■ 45° Bearing Edge
The 45° bearing edge shape, which Pearl has adopted for many years, achieves a perfect blend of attack, warmth, and sustain.

■ Opti-Loc Suspension Mounting System
The tom mounts with a 3-point support system suspend the toms using only one tension bolt and an air vent hole, maximizing shell resonance while ensuring stability even during intense playing.

■ Lacquer Finish
The striking visual of maple is further enhanced by a multi-layer UV lacquer finish.

■ Pearl Superior Shell Technology (SST)
Decade Maple shells are manufactured using Pearl's advanced shell technology to achieve ultimate resonance. Starting from the selection of wood, scarf joint cutting ensures high density and precise thickness. Each ply's cell pores are filled with Pearl's proprietary glue and molded under high pressure and temperature of 1000 PSI, resulting in powerful drum shells known for excellent tone, optimal resonance, and durability.
Additionally, all shells undergo rigorous inspection of edge flatness and roundness before drilling and assembly, ensuring the best head mounting and tuning stability.
