Variations

The KH 150 is a new generation DSP built-in 2-way monitor speaker that supports calibration using MA 1 (sold separately). Bi-amp drives 6.5"" woofer/1"" woofer with 145W/100W amplifier. Numerous mechanisms unique to NEUMANN monitors are used to achieve a wide and linear frequency response and sound.

KH 150のラインナップ

KH 150は、通常モデルと、AES 67デジタル接続に対応したAES 67モデルがあります。さらに両モデルに通常カラーとホワイトカラーがあり、合計で4機種のラインナップです。左右の指定はありません。なお、通常モデルに記載されている「EU/KC」は販売地域（仕向け）を表すもので、他国のNeumann Webサイトではいくつかの仕向けが確認できますが、日本向けのNeumann Webサイトでは日本国内で使用可能なモデルのみ掲載されていますので、ご安心ください。

通常モデルとAES67モデルは、イーサネット端子の数が異なりますが、それ以外の外観・仕様は同じです。通常モデルのイーサネット端子はキャリブレーション機能にのみ対応し、ネットワークオーディオへの接続はできません。

39Hzからの低域再生能力と高いSPL能力

レコーディングやミキシングを行うためには低域から高域まで脚色なく再生する能力が求められます。KHシリーズはサイズを超えた豊かな低域再生が魅力ですが、KH 150は39Hzからの低域再生を実現。大型の3ウェイモデルKH 310（DSP非搭載）の性能（34Hz〜）に迫る特性で、サブウーハー無しでも十分な低域再生能力を持っています。

高い再生能力は数々の独自技術が支えています。キャビネットはコンピューター・シミュレーションをベースに設計され、パイプ共振減衰を考慮した高性能バスレフポートを搭載。ユニット自体にはロングスロー・ウーハーが採用されています。

さらに最大SPLは112.7dB SPLを誇り、3ウェイモデルのKH 310を上回ります。KH 150は、高音圧レベルを必要とするスタジオに最適なKHスピーカーなのです。

リスニングポイントが広い実用的な指向性

コンピューター・シミュレーションによるキャビネットデザインの恩恵は低域にとどまりません。特徴的なツイーター周囲のくぼみはMMDウェーブガイドで、音が広がる角度（指向性）を緻密にコントロールしています。

横方向の指向性は広く調整されているため、たとえばデスク脇のキーボードを弾きながら音を聞いてもベストポジションを広く確保することができます。ミキシング用途だけでなく、制作中の移動が多い作曲や編曲などの用途にも使いやすいスピーカーです。

縦方向は狭く設計しているためデスクトップへの設置でも天井や床による反射の影響を受けにくくなっています。

別売りのMA 1マイクを使用したオートマチックモニターアライメントに対応

KH 150は優れたモニターサウンドが聞けるスピーカーですが、MA 1測定用マイク（別売）を使用したオートマチックモニターアライメント（Automatic Monitor Alignment）に対応します。KHモニタースピーカー、MA 1（別売）とAutomatic Monitor Alignment Software（MA 1にバンドル）を使用したモニター環境は、様々な試聴環境で最高のサウンドを実現します。Automatic Monitor Alignment Softwareはスタンドアロンのソフトウェアで、イーサネットを介してPCと接続します。このソフトウェアは、その他の特別なオーディオドライバーを必要としません。

その効果は誰もが頷く仕上がりで、一度KH 150とMA 1で調整されたサウンドを聞くと、オートマチック・モニター・アライメント無しには戻れないでしょう。KH 150を導入する場合は、ぜひ同時にMA 1マイクを購入されることをお勧めします。

The KH 150 is a new model that not only fills the gap in the KH series, but also has DSP and high performance as expected from the latest models. The newly developed 6.5-inch woofer, which took three years to develop, boasts higher playback accuracy than any other model currently on the market. Featuring a 20 liter bass reflex cabinet, the KH 150 delivers a maximum SPL of 118dB (1m) and deep bass response down to 39Hz.

DSP-controlled electronics provide excellent linear phase response, and Neumann's innovative MA 1 automatic monitor alignment ensures optimal calibration in any room.

The KH 150 has been developed following the same philosophy as all Neumann studio monitors. ■Performance comparable to large speakers
What's the difference between the KH 150 and its more compact sister? It has excellent low frequency performance of 39Hz. The KH 150 features a new 6.5” woofer in a carefully designed bass reflex cabinet, making it the perfect companion to the larger KH. The KH's outstanding low-frequency performance makes it ideal for urban music, EDM, movie soundtracks, and any other genre that requires deep bass and high volume.The powerful amplifier (145W/100W) and advanced protection limiter make the KH a truly universal speaker. The 150 can handle all music genres and applications, from rock to classical, broadcast, voice over, and more.

The KH 150 has an amazing linear frequency response of 39Hz to 21kHz (±3 dB) and linearized phase response. Boasting amazingly transparent and clear midrange and outstanding accuracy in the time domain, it provides accurate impulse reproduction and reliable reverberation cancellation. This is made possible by DSP-controlled electronics, and advanced crossovers avoid phase distortion caused by analog filters. The built-in DSP also sets a new standard in tonal consistency, with a low tolerance of less than ± 0.8 dB that you can hear. Please enjoy the razor-sharp stereo sound image.

■ Matches any room
Even the best speakers can only deliver as much sound as the acoustic environment. Neumann's unique MMD waveguide, which mathematically models sound diffusion, minimizes sound reflections while achieving a wide sweet spot. What's more, the KH 150's built-in DSP allows for room-by-room calibration using the innovative automatic monitor alignment MA 1 (sold separately). With MA 1, you can optimally adjust the DSP-equipped speakers to suit the characteristics of your room and achieve a calibration that is 100% appropriate for your listening position. A properly acoustically treated room will also make a huge improvement.

Additionally, the KH 150 is tonal compatible with other KH series speakers and can be incorporated into surround/immersive systems. In addition, analog and digital inputs are provided to provide flexibility in terms of connectivity.

■Achieving interoperability between AUDIO OVER IP protocols using the AES67 standard
The KH 150 AES67 variant is equipped with a redundant AES67 audio network port that is 100% compliant with broadcast standards such as ST 2110, ST 2022-7, and RAVENNA. It is also compatible with AES67 network streams generated by DANTER.

■Excellent energy saving performance
Neumann's engineering team has focused on developing amplifier technology (patent pending) that combines outstanding audio performance with class D energy efficiency. The KH 150's amplifier delivers up to 145W to the 6.5"" woofer and 100W to the 1"" tweeter, while consuming only 17W at idle. Automatic standby reduces power consumption to 0.3W when not in use for a while, but this function can be disabled.

■Installation method
Most of the accessories from KH 120 can be used with KH 150. The exception is the LH 65 table stand, for which the slightly larger LH 66 is now available for the KH 150 (Cat. No. 700258). Additionally, since the KH 150 is slightly heavier and larger than the KH 120, the LH 61 (L bracket) has also been improved. Furthermore, considering the operability of the KH 150 control section, the LH 64 (VESA mount) has also been adjusted. There will be no change to your order number.

Prism Sound AIFで起こる問題は解決されました!

MA1ソフトウェアのアップデートにより、Prism Soundオーディオインターフェイスでもキャリブレーションできるようになりました！私も実際に試してみてキャリブレーションできました。出音は自然なままに感じます。周波数のフラット化はもちろんですが、位相の補正が特に良かったです。比べるとそれまでの音はトランジェントがダブついてた事が分かりました。
サポートから頂いたアップデートの内容を下記に抜粋します。
