Morgan Amplification / DUAL 20 Combo, Driftwood

The DUAL 20 Combo is an American hand-wired combo amp with two-tone choices by switching between two different preamp tubes (EF86 and 12AX7), plus two channels: top boost and normal.

It is an all-tube amp with two EL84 power tubes. The output is variable via a power control, from 0.25 to 20 watts.
It has an open-back construction and has one Celestion G12H-75 Creamback (16 ohms) 12-inch speaker.
By being firmly anchored to a high-focus Baltic birch plywood baffle plate, energy loss is minimized, and low frequencies are reproduced very well.
Combined with the open-back construction, the sound is powerful, spacious, and full-bodied.
The power control, which can be varied from 0.25 to 20 watts without the tonal changes often associated with master volume, and the cut control, which cuts high frequencies, are common controls for each channel. The top boost channel has a VOL control and two tone controls, while the normal channel incorporates a VOL control and two tone compensation switches.
Each channel incorporates designs from two original Morgan Amplification models.
The top boost channel is based on the "Abbey" model, and the normal channel is based on the "AC20 Deluxe" model, which sounds like an early 1960s British amp.
In addition, it is designed to sound its best when connected to any effects pedal, including reverbs, delays, and modulation pedals.
It is clad in durable, scratch-resistant ballistic vinyl leather.
