Morgan Amplification / PR12 Combo, Twilight

The PR12 Combo is an American-made, hand-wired, all-tube guitar combo amp based on the classic American combo amp with spring reverb and customized to match the modern scene.

Morgan Amplification, an American boutique guitar amp brand, has introduced the PR12 Combo, a U.S.-made amp based on a classic American amp with a spring-reverb unit that was introduced in the 1960s but customized to meet the demands of today's guitarists. The PR12 Combo, a hand-wired all-tube combo amp, is now available.
This one-channel all-tube amp has three 12AX7s as pre-tubes, two 6V6s as power tubes, and a 5AR4 as rectifier tube. Its output is 12 watts.
It has an open-back construction and has one Celestion G12M-25 Greenback (16 ohms) 12-inch speaker.
By being firmly anchored to a high-focus Baltic birch plywood baffle plate, energy loss is minimized, and low frequencies are reproduced very well.
Combined with the open-back construction, the result is a powerful sound with a core and punch despite its small size.
There are only five controls: volume, which covers the overdrive range; two tones with a wide variable range (treble and bass); reverb; and dwell.
The reverb can be turned on and off with the included footswitch.
In addition, the PR12 Combo works well with any pedal, modern or vintage, and is a perfect match for fuzz, boost, overdrive, phaser, flanger, tremolo, wah, and various delays.
When the power switch is turned on, the Morgan logo in the upper left corner of the front panel is backlit slightly.
The exterior is made of durable, scratch-resistant ballistic vinyl leather and is available in two luxurious colors: Twilight and Driftwood.
