■Product overview
With the ART Tube Mix U, you can record vocals and instruments with the warm sound of a vacuum tube. The vintage-style design, including wooden side panels and needle-type VU meters, gives it a warm feel in both operability and sound.

■5-channel mixer
CH1 & 2 can input microphones, CH3 & 4 can input line signals, and CH5 can input instruments such as guitars and basses. Each channel is equipped with a 3-band EQ, AUX level, pan, and output level. CH 1, 2, and 5 also have TRIM and peak LEDs.

■CH1 & 2
There is an XLR terminal for microphones and a ¾"" phone terminal for lines. You can also supply +48V phantom power for condenser microphones. The TRIM control allows you to set the input level, and the peak LED allows you to check if the signal is clipping. By assigning a vacuum tube, you can give the microphone a warm tone.

■CH3 & 4
There is a ¾"" phone terminal for line devices. For stereo use LEFT and RIGHT, for mono use only LEFT.

■CH5
There is a 1/4"" phone jack for high impedance instruments such as guitars and basses. It also has an amplifier simulation function. The TRIM control allows you to set the input level, and the peak LED allows you to check the signal clipping. By assigning a vacuum tube, you can give your instrument a warm tone.

■Vacuum tube preamp
The built-in 12AX7 vacuum tube adds warmth to your sound. You can assign the vacuum tube to CH1&2 or CH5. You can add the warmth of vacuum tubes to instruments such as guitars and basses, or to sounds recorded with a microphone.

■USB audio interface
You can connect to your computer via a USB 2.0 terminal. It can convert analog signals to digital and input and output sound. If you have a recent Windows or Mac, you don't need to install a driver, so you can use it immediately by just connecting it. If you don't use the USB terminal, you can also use it as a normal analog mixer.

■AUX function
There is an AUX terminal for connecting a separate effector, etc. Both SEND and RETURN are 1/4"" stereo phone terminals.

Each channel (1-5) has an AUX 1 & 2 knob that allows you to set the signal level sent to the effector. The signal level returning from the effector can be set with the AUX Return knob (common to all channels).

In addition to connecting effectors, it can also be used for live monitor mixes or as an output to USB for bouncing recording tracks.

■Level meter
There is a needle-type VU and LED meter. The VU meter can monitor the output from the USB, and the LED meter can monitor the output of the main out or AUX send.

■Control room output
There is a control room output separate from the main output. It has independent level settings and terminals, making it versatile.

■Headphone output
The headphone jack is a ?"" TRS and the level can be set separately from the main output.
