ZEMAITIS / CAF-85H Faded Red

Zemaitis Acoustics has released the CAF-85H, an electric acoustic model equipped with an under-saddle pickup.

The CAF-85H is a model based on the popular heart sound hole orchestra model CAF-80H, and features a maple patterned woody rosette.
The neck has a distinctive headstock with mother-of-pearl diamond inlays and is made of mahogany, the fingerboard is made of laurel, and it has a 14-fret joint with 20 frets.
The design with the distinctive hearts scattered around the traditional Zemaitis heart-shaped sound hole and the original design of the Mastersh bridge are very attractive.
The top bracing uses forward X bracing to maximize the sound, taking into account the shape of the sound hole and the size of the body.
The biggest feature is that the body top is made of solid spruce, which has been heated in a vacuum to remove excess moisture and minerals while it is still a board, and the sides and back are made of sapele, achieving stable body rigidity that is less likely to warp.
This is a great advantage for acoustic guitars, whose sound is easily affected by external factors such as humidity and temperature.
The side of the body is equipped with a preamp with a 4-band EQ and chromatic tuner function, allowing you to output your favorite tone to an external device such as an amplifier.
The faded red top color of the antique finish aims for a rustic finish without erasing the wood grain by staining the wood, making it a guitar that can be enjoyed for many years by people of all ages and genders.
