D'Angelico / EX TAMMANY XT VNT SB

The Excel Tammany XT is an electric acoustic model with a 15-inch OM body style that features a bold design inspired by the skyscrapers of New York and an easy-to-grip neck. The Fishman INK-4 preamp tuner brings out tones that are faithful to the original sound. The top color is vintage sunburst.

The Excel Tammany XT is a 15-inch wide, 4-inch thick non-cutaway OM style flat top electric acoustic guitar equipped with a piezo pickup and Fishman's INK-4 onboard preamp on the body side. It is decorated with 3-ply headstock binding, 1-ply neck binding, and 5-ply body binding, and the back of the body also has a center strip. It gives a chic impression with a rosette combined with abalone, a mother-of-pearl D'Angelico logo on the head, and a head inlay with EXCEL SERIES written on it, following the vintage New Yorker. The body has a solid Sitka spruce top, high-quality solid mahogany sides and back, and a satin-finished mahogany neck is joined in a dovetail style. The fingerboard is made of pau ferro. It features a 25-inch scale that is easy to play, a standard C-shaped neck that is easy to grip, and medium jumbo frets. The bridge is made of pau ferro and the bridge pins are made of ebony, creating a stair-step shaped bridge that subtly incorporates the D'Angelico style. The headstock design is a scroll style without pins, and in keeping with the tradition of D'Angelico, it is equipped with Grover Super Rotomatic tuners with imperial buttons. The truss rod cover is made of aluminum, and has a striking design inspired by the skyscrapers of New York City, where Art Deco architecture (such as the Empire State Building) was popular around 1930. The lineup includes three colors with different top colors: Vintage Sunburst, Vintage Natural, and Walnut Stain.
