The Excel Lexington is an acoustic-electric guitar with a 16-inch dreadnought body and a neck that is easy to hold, inspired by the skyscrapers of New York. The top color is vintage natural.

The Excel Lexington is a 16-inch wide, 4.7-inch thick dreadnought style flat top electric acoustic guitar equipped with a piezo pickup and a Fishman Presys+ onboard preamp on the body side. It is decorated with a cream-colored headstock and neck binding, 5-ply body binding, and a center strip on the back of the body. The combination of abalone rosettes, mother-of-pearl D'Angelico logo on the head, and split block position markers on the fingerboard give it an elegant impression. The body has a solid Sitka spruce top, MacArthur ebony sides and back, which are premium materials with a unique pattern, and a satin-finished mahogany neck joined in a dovetail style. The fingerboard is made of ebony. It features a 25-inch scale that is easy to play, a standard C-shaped neck that is easy to grip, and medium jumbo frets. The bridge and bridge pins are made of ebony, and the bridge has a stair-step shape that subtly incorporates the D'Angelico style. The distinctive headstock design continues the D'Angelico tradition. The truss rod cover is made of aluminum, and has a striking design inspired by the skyscrapers of New York City, where Art Deco architecture (such as the Empire State Building) was popular around 1930. The lineup includes three colors with different top colors: Vintage Natural, Auburn, and Vintage Sunburst.
