開放型で人気の高いDT990PROが欲しくて2024年のセールを待っていましたが、この度の能登半島地震でサウンドハウスが行った支援をX（ツイッター）で知り、セールを待たずに購入いたしました。
通常モデルでも良かったのですが、カールコードが扱い辛そうだったのと見た目の印象でBlack Editionを選択。
手持ちのオーディオインターフェイスZen Q Synergy Core USB（USB給電）で充分な音量が取れるようにと、250Ωと80Ωの選択で結構悩みましたが、意を決して250Ω版をチョイスした結果必要充分な音量で鳴らすことが出来ています。
モニター用としては既に密閉型のDT700PRO Xを所有してますが、音の定位感はDT990PROの方が上だと思います。
また、700PRO Xの350gに対し990PROは250g…と700PRO Xの装着感は良いのですが、この100gの差が長時間使用時に差となって表れるのではないかと思いました。
密閉型と比較すると聴き疲れしにくい印象で、より気持ちよく音楽を聴くことが出来ます。
人気の理由が良く分かりましたが、ケーブル着脱可能で純正イヤーパットがもっと安かったらもっともっと最高でした…。
あと、耳の大きめな人用により厚みのあるイヤーパットがあれば更に良かったと思います。
今後、エージングでどのように音質が変化していくかが楽しみです！

初めての開放型＆初めてのbeyerdynamic

分析的なことは置いておいての感想。
・側圧は強め
・パッドの感触気持ちいい（夏場は暑いかも）
・とてもしっかりした作り。だけど軽い
・ケーブル（ストレートケーブル）の巻き癖はつきやすい（というかとれない）
・密閉型と比べると低音が聞こえないけど不足しているとは思わない
・密閉型と比べると音が遠い（＝広がりがある≒モニタースピーカーで聞いてるみたい）
・密閉型と比べると聞き疲れない
・リスニング用としても使いたくなる（というか使っている）
開放型いいですね。音の耳当たりは密閉型よりも好きです。
開放型のリスニングヘッドホンが気になり始めました。
beyerdynamicもいいですね。好きな音質です。他の製品も聞いてみたい。
250Ωという抵抗強めなのも初だったのでそこが心配でしたが、私の環境では普段のボリュームにプラス30°?45°くらいでだいたい同じ音量になりました。ヘッドホン用のアンプなしではおそらく充分な音量は期待できないのではと思います。
