The RE-2 is a compact pedal that reproduces the sound of the Roland RE-201 Space Echo at an unprecedented level. The REPEAT RATE has been extended to twice the original length, while reproducing the rhythmic echo of the three playheads and the characteristic sound of the spring reverb.

The popular delay with intuitive operation and high sound quality has been powered up with a new delay algorithm incorporating the Shimmer effect, using the Sub 'N' Up circuit, and the addition of crystals. In addition, the Tape and Analog algorithms have been newly developed to achieve a more vintage-like effect. In addition, MASH technology, a pressure-sensitive expression control, has been introduced, allowing for free sound creation and spatial expression that is not bound by conventional delay effects.

セッションにペダル1台を持って行くならコレ！

ロカビリーやカントリー、ルーツ・ミュージックを弾いてますが、コレはもう欠かせない機材です。
とにかく抜けが良い音で、しかも太くなります。エコーやリバーブにはアナログっぽさも感じられ、シンプルなツマミ操作ですが可変幅も結構ありますから、音作りの楽しさも味わえます。
プリセットできないことやリバーブが1種類のみが弱点かも？と心配しましたが、それ以上にコンパクトで直感的な操作が可能なことには大きなアドバンテージがあるのではないでしょうか。
過日、ギターマガジン2025年3月号の特集で「もしもセッションにペダル1台を持って行くなら？」のアンケートが行われましたが、僕はもちろんコレを推奨しておきました！

シンプルなつまみのリバーブ、タップテンポを使えるディレイを探して本機を購入しました。
リバーブは1ノブですが、どの位置でも綺麗に鳴ってくれるので基本かけっぱなしにしています。
エコーの音も素晴らしく、ギターの音色に艶が出るというか、雰囲気を醸し出してくれるので自分の腕前が上がったように錯覚します。
こいつ無しではもはやギター弾けません。
僕に恨みがある方は、僕がギターを弾いている時このペダルを踏んでください笑

良音かつ安心信頼

テープエコーとは関係なくDelayとreverbがセットになったものを探していて辿り着きました。
テープの歪み感は無くキレイめエコー路線として方向性は明確で、そこさえ間違えなければ4-5万のDelayやreverbに全く引けを取らないクオリティだと思います。ある一定以上の音の良さは好みや自己満の域になるので良い音と感じられるラインは余裕でクリアしています。
何より動作に対する信頼度が高いボスコンは安心です。高価なものでも電源にシビアなものなど本番で使うには不安なものなどあり、様々な環境で演奏する身としてはタフなペダルが良いです。
見た目もカッコイイです。

原音が綺麗です。

正直、他の人に知られたくない程、原音が綺麗なリバーブでした。
元々、BOSSのリバーブ、ディレイが気に入っているものですので偏見かも知れませんが、ストライモンのリバーブ、ＴＣ　ELEC．のディレイよりも原音が綺麗です。
どのアンプで鳴らしても奇麗に聞こえるのは音が加工されてるのでしょうか。
エレガットでも良い音でした。
あなたに騙されたと言われたくないのでレビューをためらいましたが、ＢＯＳＳ様を応援したいと思うのと、どなたかに共感してもらえたらと思い、レビュー投稿することにしました。

いい感じです

Roland RE-201と比べて、デジタルなので少し音ヤセはありますが、いい感じでシミュレートできてると思います。
ディレイだけ欲しいとかリバーブだけ欲しいとかなら、別の製品を選んだら良いですが、Space Echoならではの音の揺らぎが得られるコレは優れものだと思います。
コンパクトさも良いですね。
