MODO DRUM 1.5 is the latest version of IK's first software drum sound source that uses physical modeling. MODO DRUM 1.5 combines sound generation by physical modeling with advanced sampling technology to enable deep customization of drum kits (13 types in total) that was previously impossible.
As the first bass sound source to use physical modeling, MODO DRUM provides realistic drum sounds just like the award-winning MODO BASS. MODO DRUM allows you to control various elements that make up the sound of your drum kit, from the material and size of the drums to your playing style and room resonance.
MODO DRUM's innovative sound generation technology based on modal synthesis breaks the limitations of conventional sampling sound sources and sets a new standard for realistic, natural, and freely customizable drum sounds.

Real-time sound generation
Unlike traditional sampling-based drum sound sources, MODO DRUM uses IK's unique sound generation technology based on modal synthesis, and uses an optimized sound engine to breathe new life into drum tracks.
The basic ""sound"" of a drum kit is determined by the physical components of each instrument. However, the final sound is determined not only by physical elements such as the size, material, and drumhead of the instrument, but also by the playing style, the interaction between the drum head and body, the resonance between the instruments that make up the drum kit, and the room resonance.
*Please be sure to check the System Requirements at the bottom of the manufacturer's website for the operating environment.
