The HD400PRO is an ideal monitor headphone for creators and musicians who want natural and accurate sound. It features a lightweight open housing design and soft-touch velour ear pads for comfort during long sessions. ■Highly accurate design
・HD400PRO has a wide frequency response of 6 to 38,000Hz, allowing music producers to fully understand the contents of the mix. The 120Ω transducer developed by Sennheiser is equipped with a diaphragm made of a special polymer blend. Combined with a powerful driver magnet, it delivers extremely clear bass with detailed sound. It accurately reproduces voices even outside the audible range, delivering delicate nuances of music and a clear low end.

■Expansive design
・The HD400PRO transducer is slightly tilted, recreating the ideal triangular listening position when listening to monitor speakers in a recording studio. In addition, the HD400PRO's open housing design allows for natural sound expansion without being hindered by the acoustic structure required in a closed design. These two elements create a natural, transparent, wide, and deep sound stage. Music producers can work with confidence that the final mix will be conveyed accurately to the listener.

■Designed for comfort

-The carefully designed ultra-lightweight frame places the ear cups in the right position, minimizing pressure and gently enveloping your ears. The soft velour ear pads are comfortable against the skin, allowing you to focus on your project for hours. The over-ear design is breathable to keep your ears in good condition even during long mixing sessions.

■Part of Dear Reality monitoring plug-in

-Can be used with Dear Reality's headphone monitoring plug-in, which uses advanced spatial audio technology to create a virtual mix room with carefully designed acoustic effects. It is already integrated into the Spatial Headphone Compensation function of dearVR MIX.

-The HD 400 PRO comes with a 3-meter coiled cord cable and a 1.8-meter straight cable, both of which have a 3.5mm terminal for portable sound sources. It also comes with a 6.3mm conversion adapter for connection to a mixing desk or audio interface.

隠れた名機、にふさわしいモニターヘッドホン

10万以上するヘッドホンとか、あれやこれやと試した結果、
現在の最終地点がこのヘッドホンです。
非常に、いや、異常に低域のモニタリングがしやすいです。
だいたい低域が良く聴こえる、と謳われているヘッドホンは
他の帯域とのバランスが破綻していたり、前に出過ぎていたりと、
何かしら他が犠牲になることが多いのですが、
このヘッドホンはそれが一切ないんですね。驚きました。
高域や定位の表現も繊細で、空間系の処理もよく見えます。
※補足
上位機種の490が出ました。
400系統のキャラクターなので気に入っていますし、より解像度が上がってて歓喜！
なのですが、相対的に低域が見えづらくなった感があり、結局この400PROを使ってます。

サウンドハウスさんで購入しまして、まだ1週間弱しか使っておりませんがレビューしたいと思います。
たぶん皆さん気になる部分はダイヤフラムの角度がどうなのか？だと思いますが、ぶっちゃけ普通のヘッドフォンと聞こえ方は変わりませんね。
音が前から聞こえるなんて事はないです。
この点を期待していた人は要検討ですよ。
そこを抜きにしてモニターヘッドフォンとしてはどうなのかですが、その点についてはばっちり音がよく見えます。
気が付かなかったシンバルの高音の位相のズレがはっきりと分かりました。
開放型プラス重量も軽いのでずっと使っていても疲れないですね。
難点をあげるとすれば、伸び縮みするところがプラスチック製で折れそうなのと、ストレートケーブルがちょっと短いかな？と感じました。
