The input section is equipped with a discrete Class-A microphone preamplifier ""D-PRE"". The head amplifier section uses an inverted Darlington circuit with a multi-stage configuration of amplification elements, and is characterized by a sound quality with a plump tension and luster in the mid-low range. The custom-made op-amp ""MG01"" is used to achieve a rich bass feeling and a relaxed treble. The input terminal uses a combo jack and is compatible with XLR and TRS phone. A PAD circuit that attenuates the input signal level also allows line-level input to be received via XLR.

Since its release in 1985, the digital multi-effect processor ""SPX"" has been popular with engineers around the world. The built-in 24 types of editable digital effects can color live performances and speeches to a richer, deeper sound. The reverb and delay in particular achieve high quality, expanding the range of realistic spatial expression while maintaining a natural texture. By connecting the optional foot switch ""FC5"", effects can be turned on and off with foot operation.

■ Gray color is used for the master section to enhance the visual effect
In order to quickly check the location of the master control even when a large number of audio equipment is installed at an event, etc., a new gray color with a high visual effect has been adopted for the master section around the faders and terminals, which were previously blue.

■ When combined with optional items sold separately, it can also be installed on a microphone stand or fixed equipment
Despite its robust metal chassis, it is lightweight and can be quickly and easily installed in a variety of locations. The MG10X can be mounted on a microphone stand using the optional BMS-10A adapter, and the MG12X comes with an optional rack mount kit, the RK-MG12. The MG16X comes with a rack mount kit.
