■High-quality amp sound in an ideal sound field

For many guitarists, playing an amp at a satisfying volume at home is not realistic. Even if you can get a sufficient volume, there will always be time constraints. Also, if you use headphones to enjoy a sufficient volume, the sound is played directly to your ears, so you cannot get the sense of realism that you get when playing in front of a guitar amp. WAZA-AIR is a guitar headphone system that solves all these problems that guitarists have and allows you to immerse yourself in your own world. With BOSS's 3D sound technology, the gyro sensor follows your movements while you play, allowing you to feel the realistic sound field and depth of sound as if you were actually in front of an amp cabinet. Everything is adjusted automatically, so there is no need for complicated settings, just play your guitar as you like.

■High-quality amps and effects

WAZA-AIR has sounds and controls inherited from the stage amp KATANA Amp, and not only can you freely customize the sound, but there are also many presets available in the dedicated BOSS TONE STUDIO app. There are five built-in amp types, with a wide range of characters to choose from, from clean to high gain, and even types with a wide playback range that can be used for acoustic electric guitars and basses. In addition, more than 50 types of effects are available, including modulation, delay, and reverb, optimized for the realistic sound field of WAZA-AIR. Up to six set-up sounds can be stored in memory and quickly recalled with a button on the main unit.

■Selectable performance environment
WAZA-AIR allows you to choose your performance environment from three sound fields. In surround mode, it reproduces the room sound as if you were playing an amp in a studio. In static mode, the amp in front of you resonates in a three-dimensional and realistic position according to the player's head movement, just like in a real space. In stage mode, the sound field is created so that the sound of the amp can be heard from behind you, as if you were performing on stage. You can experience a realistic soundscape in which the sound of the amp actually travels through the air and reaches your ears.
