TASCAM / MODEL 16

The TASCAM Model 16 is a 14-channel recording mixer that allows for flexible mixing. It features 14 analog input channels: 10 MIC, 14 LINE, and 2 INST. The Bluetooth 5.0-compatible stereo input source channel also features RCA pin jack and stereo mini jack input terminals.

■ Flexible Mixing
The top panel features 14 analog inputs: 10 MIC, 14 LINE, and 2 INST. Flexible and easy connection of microphones, instruments, and sound sources for live mixing and recording. The Bluetooth 5.0-compatible stereo channels also feature RCA pin jack and stereo mini jack inputs.

■ Natural and Pure Sound
Channels 1-8 feature TASCAM Ultra-HDDA (High Definition Discrete Architecture) microphone preamp circuits, delivering natural, transparent sound.

■ Fully Featured Channel Strip
Each channel is equipped with a gain knob for fine-tuning the input level. Beneath this are a low-cut filter and a LIVE/PC/MTR mode switch, allowing for flexible combinations of different input sources. Channels 1-8 also feature a one-knob compressor and a 3-band mid-parametric EQ for intuitive and fast operation.

■Outstanding Audio Routing and Monitoring
The master section features three independent outputs: MAIN, SUB, and CR. The AUX output section offers three outputs (MON1, MON2 [pre/post switchable], and FX). These outputs can be used to send audio signals to stage monitors, external effects, signal processors, headphone mixes, and more.

■Powerful 16-Track Digital MTR Functionality
Equipped with a high-performance multitrack engine packed with TASCAM's renowned recording expertise, it can record up to 16 tracks (14 inputs + main mix) to an SD card at 24-bit/48 kHz, making it ideal for a wide range of applications, from live performances and rehearsals to lectures and meetings. It also features punch-in and punch-out functionality, making overdubbing easy. Mixing and mastering are possible on the spot, and tracks can also be exported to a PC for editing.

■High-Quality Audio Interface
The built-in 16-in/14-out USB audio interface allows integration with external DAWs at up to 24-bit/48 kHz. The TASCAM USB driver allows you to set the audio buffer value to as little as 4 samples, providing low latency and highly efficient performance.

■ Flexible Input Settings
The MODE switch on each channel allows you to select the source you need. Sources input to the Model 16, playback tracks on the built-in MTR, and audio sources from DAW software via USB can all be used simultaneously.

■ 16 Multi-Effects
The effects section features a total of 16 editable effects, including reverb, delay, chorus, and flanger. These effects can also be turned on/off with a foot switch.

■ Master Section with 4-Band EQ
The master section features a parametric 4-band EQ with high/low shelving and wide/narrow Q. It can be inserted into the main output or MON1/2.

■ Wide Range of Optional Accessories
The AK-RM16 rack mount adapter allows for rack installation, and the AK-DC16 dust cover protects the unit from dirt and dust. Additionally, the RC-1F foot switch allows remote control of functions such as punch-in/punch-out and file playback.
