SOUND WARRIOR / SWHP100

The first semi-open headphones from SOUND WARRIOR, the SW-HP100, utilize the technology cultivated in the development of the popular high-quality monitor headphones SW-HP10s and SW-HP20 to achieve a natural, spacious sound with good sound penetration. The sound is characterized by a pursuit of clarity and transparency in the mid-to-high range, especially in vocals.

■Uses a new driver unit developed for the SW-HP100.
-While maintaining the ergonomic design that has been well received for its comfortable fit in the SW-HP10s and SW-HP20, asymmetric ear pads have been adopted with a revised fabric for the sound creation of this unit.
-Realizes the natural sound reproduction with less pressure and good sound penetration that is unique to semi-open types, which was difficult to achieve with closed types.
-Sound tuning with emphasis on clarity and transparency in the mid-to-high range. Outputs clear and crystal-clear sound reproduction, especially in the vocal range.

■Perfectly symmetrical housing internal structure
-A solid sense of positioning can be obtained, realizing not only vocals but also the positioning of each instrument, the grain of sound, and an accurate sense of distance.

■Generously uses carefully selected materials
-The case material of the main unit is made of nylon resin, which is also used in the SW-HP10s and SW-HP20, and is highly durable and robust with less cracking and deterioration. In addition, the ear pads, which are ergonomically designed based on ergonomics, provide an excellent fit.

■ Detachable cable for excellent usability
- The cable can be detached. The detachable part on the headphone body uses Φ2.5mm mono mini jack x 2 (L/R), so you can use the same cable as SW-HP20. In addition, by connecting the optional balanced XLR connection cord (SWA-HP20-XLR) and connecting it to a headphone amplifier that supports balanced connection (XLR) such as SWD-HA10, left and right separation is improved and you can enjoy clear, three-dimensional playback sound.

いきなり凄い音が出てきて感動。

評価が相当に高いので気になっていたのですが、音質に有利な待望のセミオープンが出たので増税直前購入。ゼンハの６６０Ｓを買ったばかり（未だバーンインが十分ではないですが）なので、評価が厳しくなってしまうかなぁと思っていたのですが・・・杞憂とは当にこのことだった。ケーブルで評価が下がってはいけないと思い、アームチェアリスニング派の強みでMOGAMI 2534でリケーブル。トランスアッテネーターを介してのＤＡＣ直結（バランス接続）。バーンイン無しでいきなり耳がコンデンサマイク状態。ストリングス文句なし。ピアノもボーカルも超ハイレベルで魅力的。やはりドラム、太鼓は大人しい、が心地よい弾力感。ここは好みと思います。音は近くて演奏者の真ん前という印象。汎用２．５ｍｍ2極ミニジャック左右でリケーブル容易でこの価格ならヘッドホンマニアへのプレゼントみたいな商品じゃないでしょうか？

５万以上の商品にも勝てる名機

作曲目的でHP10SとHP100を購入。
よって同じ文章を両方のレビューに記載。
以下の記事で音の正確性を聞いただけでなく
しっかりとデータをとっている記事を見つけたことがきっかけ。

AKG K271 pro（初の購入モニターヘッドフォン）から乗り換え。
ナチュラルサウンドをうたっているものとして
他にはTAGO STUDIOさんのT3やSONYの900などが代表ですが
個人的にHP-10Sがモニターとして一番優れていると思います。
T3を除外した理由は
・消耗品に6万は高すぎる。
・１つ１つ耳で最終的に調整していることや
　個体差があることがモニターヘッドフォンという
　「あるがままを聞く」という安定性に欠けると判断。
・つけ心地は素晴らしいがHP10Sも同様。
しかしリスニング目的も含めればT3に軍配が上がるかもしれませんが
やはりモニターという制作に特化した部分と考えると10Sしかないでしょう。
HP１００（以降１００）の購入理由ですが
さきほどリスニング目的でならT3と書きましたが
１００はまさしくその部分さえも対抗しうる部分です。
正確なモニタのバランスではなく以下の点を期待して試聴。
・音の場所がわかりやすくつかみやすいか
・ボーカルがどのように変化するか
・リスニング機能としていいのではないか
結果としましては
音の方向性はかなりわかりやすく、
細かい粒立ちもしっかりモニタできます。
ボーカルも城下工業のサイトにあるとおり。
リスニング機能ですが、
正直２０よりも１００のほうがリスニングとしても
適しているように思いました。
ナチュラルサウンドをつきつめるには
その仲介となるオーディオインターフェースや
DACも考え直さなければいけないため
現在、城下工業のDACであるDA２０をレンタル予定。
城下工業様自体がかなりナチュラルサウンドを
経営方針として掲げており、これからも期待の企業様です。
また電話をしたり、ショップ店員にも聞いてみましたが
かなりの優良サポートで有名ですし、
実際営業の人と話した感じも印象がかなりよかったです。
