A rack-mountable audio interface that offers the most flexibility in the SCARLETT series. Scarlett 18i20 (gen. 3) realizes 18 inputs and 20 outputs including digital. It is possible to capture various instruments and equipment with the best sound. A built-in talkback microphone helps you record comfortably.

* The loopback function operates on DAW software.
It cannot be used with distribution software such as OBS.

■ AIR MODE
Equipped with an "Air" function that emulates the analog frequency characteristics of the ISA mic preamplifier that made the name of Focusrite. Useful for recording vocals / instruments with a microphone placed near the sound source.

■ ALT function hardware control (ALT speaker switching)
The 18i20 (gen.3) has an ALT button on the front panel. Using this feature, you can connect a second set of monitor loudspeakers to Line Outputs 3 and 4, and switch between the two sets of loudspeakers to see the mix created by different sets of speakers. The ALT function can be set and selected from Focusrite Control.

■ INTERACTIVE ONBOARDING
The INTERACTIVE ONBOARDING process provides a more comfortable start-up than ever before.
When SCARLETT is connected to a computer, it is recognized as a storage device, and the onboarding process begins by opening the built-in disk image.
You can proceed to guidance on software download and setup.
This makes it possible for beginners to experienced users to get to work on music as quickly as possible.

SCARLETT G3 adopts USB Type-C. USB C-A cable is included.

■ SUPER STABLE, LOW LATENCY USB DRIVERS
Dedicated driver realizes high stability and low latency on Windows PC.

■ Attached software
The Scarlett G3 includes software that works indefinitely for any production method, including composition, recording, and editing, indefinitely: Ableton Live Lite, and Eleven, which emulates a real guitar amp Pro Tools | First Focusrite Creative Pack with Lite and 12 plug-ins including Black Ops to create distortion and overdrive that symbolize the guitar sound. It is a package that allows you to start recording from. In addition, Softube Time and Tone bundle and Focusrite Red Plugin-Suite are also included.
